Writing this page is really difficult.
It brought back many fond memories of my previous car.
In a way, this car brought a lot of traffic to my blog.
The changes done to the car might not be written in a right order..
I am writing it based on memory and also my multiply blog..
Period of ownership:- Dec 05 to Dec 07
The car came in a light blue colour when we bought it at AML.

Dealer offered to respray it FOC and so, I settled on pink.
My favourite car then was the Fast and Furious S2K in pink.
The stuff that was changed on Day 1 was:-
rims, headlamps, tail lamps, visors & spoiler!

It was never meant to be a Hello Kitty Car.
The car stayed stock for a while until i was offered a good deal for a bodykit.
And so, we installed the kit and changed the rims again.

In the past, my hubby and I love to make our cars interior beautiful & comfortable..
That’s why you can see I have lots of things inside the car in the above photos.

My hubby was driving the airtrek then. It was a car I missed too.
Initally, hubby and i were arguing on a theme for the car.
Pink Panther? No. Strawberry Shortcake? No. Hello Kitty? Maybe.
Frankly, I am not a fan of Hello Kitty. We just wanted a theme.
And we started our search for Hello Kitty car accessories & toys.
Everywhere we go, we looked and grabbed whatever we think is nice.
The fur on the dashboard is like a MUST for me, as I missed his blue fit.
So, we went to Spotlight to buy that expensive fur for $49.90 per meter.
this was how the jazz’s dashboard looked like initially…

and after all that shopping, we had more….

he changed my steering wheel for me, couldn’t find a pink one..
so we settled for a red velvet one from OMP..

we had a hard time finding these car seat covers….
really cannot remember where we finally got it from.

This curtain is hand sewn by myself onto the ready made structure.

and with the left over cloth, I wrapped my center console box.
later on, he helped to change my seats..
(i have no idea where the seat covers are at now..)

he also installed some gadgets to enhance car performance..

This is an old head unit we got cheap from our friend’s shop.

we got this necklace from malaysia I think..

we even bought this, even though the colour didn’t fit..

according to my multiply blog, in july 06, we changed suspension..

this was a ridiculous height.. i made the workshop change the height again..

and finally in September 06, we put on stickers for the car…
i think the reason why we finally added stickers was for the Big Boyz Toyz event.

we did a lot of customization for the event, and that includes side plates..

Other things which i added were some of the followings…

and off I went.. for the competition…

and then i got a sunday times interview in november..
i still have the article somewhere, laminated..

and then I got invited to the Hello Kitty Hide and Seek event..
(i was actually honked down on the roads by local sanrio distributor..)

and then from there, i got on STOMP!

for that couple of months, the exposure of the car was a lot..
oh well, it was quite enjoyable especially when we drive it ard..
hubby also installed neon pink under carriage lights for me..

in dec 06, my car was at singapore expo for a 3 day event..
semi finals and finals of the big boyz toyz event..

this acrylic costs $550…. still sitting in my storeroom..

our car won 2nd prize

a month before the finals, my car was even used as a wedding car..

oh yeah, during the fit jazz club photoshoot, i had an interview with asiaone..

and my car was in low profile mood for the first half of 2007…
until my hubby bought this for me… i tore down all my stickers!

and i added this.. expensive cloth!!!

and then we changed the entire sticker of the car..
i really love this design…

but a turn of events… we decided to put the car up for sale in oct..

it was upsetting… and we did a photoshoot with wheels magazine..

and it came out in the november 07 issue of wheels..

and on 1st dec 2007… my car was back to stock..

and so, that ends the story of my hello kitty honda jazz..
it’s a pity nobody offered a price when i was selling the car as it is..
it was a 4 yr old car, totally accident free and mileage of 65k..
when i got the car, it’s mileage was about 44k.. i only travelled 21k in 2 yrs!
